Under distance selling rules you have a maximum of 7 days in which to return any unwanted items,
provided that they have not been used, all packaging is in intact, and all goods and packaging are in
Damaged or Other returns: Please contact Dave prior to returns.
Warranty and Consumers Rights
Purchases are protected by the Distance Selling Regulations, which allow you to cancel the purchase within 7 working days after the day you receive the item. Items must not be used and returned in its new condition or by special arrangement.
You can return your purchase to us in its original condition within 30 days of the date you received the item and we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item. Any seals and shrink-wrap must be intact.
You may return most new, unopened items sold and fulfilled by Awning Handyman within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.
If the item becomes defective (after 30 days of receipt)
Please keep all the warranty information that accompanies your item as this may be required by the manufacturer, should there be a fault. The manufacturer will be in a better position than the retailer to offer assistance with technical problems affecting its products. In the unlikely event that you have a faulty item, you will find it quicker and easier to contact the manufacturer directly so that they can rectify the problem for you. In a case where the item has become defective after 30 days, you can of course contact us to obtain manufacturer contact details or returns information.
If we sent you an item you did not order (an "incorrect" item)
As soon as you find out we've sent you an incorrect item, please phone or email us to confirm your order and returns. An address will be given to you for returning the incorrect item and we'll make sure you are not charged for it. If you want us to replace the item we sent you with the item you ordered, please advise us and we'll send you the correct item as soon as we can.
Note: You may return the faulty item only and not the full set to avoid unnecessary inconvenience and costs. In the event of awninghandyman.co.uk sending you a replacement for a damaged, defective or incorrect item, you must return the original item to awninghandyman.co.uk within 30 days of our e-mail confirming the issue of the replacement item. Provided you return this item to us within the 30 days, you will have nothing more to pay. If you do not return the original item to us by the end of the 30-day period, we reserve the right to charge an amount equal to the price of your original order to the payment card you used for the order.
Thinking of returning an item?
To ensure the safe return of your items and the correct allocation of the items to your order, please follow the guidelines below:
Please print the return label and include it in your return package. If you cannot print the label, please include the payslip (the original or a copy) or a piece of paper with the name of the person who ordered the items, a contact number, the order number and the reason for the return. The address to where the item is to be returned will be provided.
Please use the original package to return the item if possible.
If you no longer have the original package, please include the name of the person who ordered the items and the order number.
There is a product warranty cover on material and manufacture for 12 months. We are unable to replace items that are damaged through neglect or abnormal use.
